The DMA 35 is a rugged, portable density meter that delivers lab-quality results directly at the sample site — eliminating the need to transport liquids back to the lab. With just 2 mL of sample required, it replaces traditional glass hydrometers and pycnometers across a wide range of industries. Designed for real-world use, the DMA 35 features an IP54-rated sealed housing, rubberized protection, and glove-friendly capacitive keys. Gesture control allows for one-handed operation, while integrated Bluetooth® and RFID interfaces enable instant data transfer and sample tracking in the field. A patented oscillator design ensures that air bubbles are directed away from the measuring cell, preserving result accuracy even in harsh environments or high-temperature samples up to 100 °C.

             

Trusted since 1981 and protected by global patents (AT516421 B1, EP3015847 B1), the DMA 35 has been developed with deep expertise in portable density measurement. It covers a broad density range (0 to 3 g/cm³) with repeatability as precise as ±0.0005 g/cm³ and features automatic viscosity correction for reliable results, even with high-viscosity fluids. The device supports up to 1,200 stored measurements, 30 measuring methods, and 250 sample IDs. With pre-installed tables for alcohol, sugar, sulfuric acid, API functions, and more — including ten fully customizable concentration units — it is built to handle complex workflows across labs, plants, and mobile operations.
